Five-Day Retreat with Pamela
At Harbin's new Oneness Institute |
|
Pamela returns to Harbin Hot Springs for a five-day retreat, but this time we have booked the brand new Oneness Institute, a short drive from Harbin. Harbin purchased the 4000 acre Diamond J Ranch a year ago and has turned it into an exceptionally quiet and beautiful retreat center. There are two lodges surrounded by magnificent valley oaks, one with a river at the bottom of the garden. Each has a heated swimming pool - and we also have use of Harbin itself, one of the oldest and most beautiful hot springs in California, with its massage center, garden, restaurant, temple, theater and pools. There are only two private rooms in the new Oneness Institute, and they will be assigned on a first come first served basis. Other accommodation is dorm-style, with single and bunk beds - or sleeping pads on the floor of the satsang room. All accommodation is the same price. Those wanting more comfort may stay at Harbin's hotel rooms, where prices range from $370 for your own basic room, to $465 or more for a room with its own bathroom or shared cottage - for five nights. See Harbin's room rates page for more details. The all-inclusive retreat fee is $750. This includes the satsang fee, accommodation, entry into Harbin and access to all pools and facilities, breakfast and two cooked organic meals per day, fruit, snacks and hot beverages. Couples pay $650 each. Under-25s pay for food and accommodation only = $500. To register and reserve your place, send a deposit of $100 by check made out to Fellowship of the Heart to Fellowship of the Heart, 6494 Dry Creek Road, Napa, CA 94558. Please write "Harbin" on your check. You can also pay the deposit with a credit card via Paypal. The balance can be paid on arrival. The retreat starts on Friday evening, April 6 and ends at noon on Wednesday April 11. There will be yoga in the morning and satsang twice a day, and ample opportunities to enjoy the facilities and the pools, or make the short drive to Harbin for a watsu or a massage, or a dip in one of naturally heated pools of the main center. Participants are welcome to enter Harbin at noon on Friday. Directions: Because of its location and many approaches, and to save space on this page, we refer you to the Harbin Directions page for the best way to get from where you are to Harbin. There is also an online Harbin Ride Board for people offering or looking for rides from the Bay Area and beyond. For more information, email tonyk@sonic.net. |
